I became passionate about supporting mothers and families in the early postpartum through my own experience of having my 3 children and while supporting my family and friends.
It was then that I came to appreciate how much there is to learn in our new roles as mothers and fathers, and how challenging the transition to parenthood can be.
I have a BA in Business Management and have worked, while raising kids, in Marketing in the High Tech industry for many years, before I became a stay-at-home mom in 2002.
I am a certified Postpartum Doula (DONA) and a Breastfeeding Counselor and Educator. I instruct Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes and facilitate support groups with Sutter Health and Blossom Birth and Family and volunteer with Nursing Mothers Counsel.
