About Me
I became passionate about supporting mothers and families in the early postpartum through my own experience of having my three children and while supporting my family and friends. It was then that I came to appreciate how much there is to learn in our new roles as parents, and how challenging the transition to parenthood can be. I firmly believe that "it takes a village to raise a child," and in my role, I strive to bring some of that "village" to the early parenting days.
I have a BA in Business Management and have worked, while raising kids, in Marketing in the high-tech industry for many years.
I am a certified Postpartum Doula (DONA) and a Breastfeeding Counselor and Educator (CAPPA). I instruct Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes and facilitate support groups with Sutter Health and Blossom Birth and Family and volunteer with Nursing Mothers Counsel.
