What is a Postpartum Doula?
As a Postpartum Doula and Lactation Counselor, I specialize in supporting families after the arrival of a newborn. I offer flexible, personalized care tailored to each family’s unique needs, providing evidence-based guidance in infant care, breastfeeding, and newborn behavior, and supporting families who consistently share high satisfaction with the care they receive.
My support can include infant feeding (breast and/or bottle), newborn care and sleep, emotional and physical recovery from birth, family-baby bonding, infant soothing, and light household help.
My goal is to “work myself out of a job” by helping parents build experience and confidence in their ability to care for their child.
Where?
I serve families in the Peninsula and the South Bay, all the way from San Jose up to San Mateo, California.
I will typically come to the parents' home depending on the family's needs for the first few weeks, to make sure everything is running smoothly so parents can concentrate on taking care of the baby.
